This Privacy Policy explains how Trademark Title, LLC ("Trademark Title," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://trademarktitlegroup.com/ (the "Site") or work with us. Trademark Title provides title insurance in North Carolina and South Carolina. We do not perform closings; closings are handled by licensed closing attorneys.

Information you give us

• Contact and order requests. When you use a contact form or email us to order title, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, property address, transaction details, and the names and contact information of others involved in the transaction (such as buyers, sellers, lenders and closing attorneys).
• Rate calculator. If you use our title insurance premium calculator, we may receive the information you enter, such as purchase price, loan amount, property location and transaction type.
• Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address.

Information collected automatically When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

The Site is hosted on GoDaddy Website Builder and displays a cookie notice. The Site uses:

• Google Analytics (Google tag) to understand how visitors use the Site. It is set up with Google Consent Mode, so advertising-related storage is off by default.
• GoDaddy website analytics, which the Site platform uses to measure traffic and performance.
• Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to protect against spam and abuse. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We use information to:

• process title orders, prepare title commitments and issue title insurance policies;
• provide premium estimates;
• send newsletters and updates you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time);

• meet legal, regulatory and underwriting requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services or as permitted by law, including with:

• Title insurance underwriters that issue the policies we write;
• Closing attorneys, lenders, real estate agents and other parties to your transaction, as needed to complete it;
• Service providers that help us operate our business and the Site (such as website hosting, email and analytics providers), who may use the information only to perform services for us; and
• Government authorities or others when required by law, court order or regulation, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

As a provider of title insurance, we are subject to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and related state laws. We collect nonpublic personal information (such as names, addresses, loan and financial details) from applications, transaction documents and the parties to your transaction. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except as permitted by law, such as to complete your transaction, to our underwriters, or to service providers bound by confidentiality. Customers receive our separate GLBA privacy notice where the law requires it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and we limit access to people who need it to do their jobs. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers or bank account details) through the Site's contact form or regular email. Wire fraud warning: we will never change wiring instructions by email. Always confirm wiring instructions by phone, using a number you know is correct, before sending funds.

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes described above, including as required by title insurance, underwriting, tax and other record-keeping laws. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to other websites, such as Google Drive forms, closing attorney websites and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
